What is Circuit Fitness?
Circuit training is a form of endurance AND resistance training. Using multiple forms of exercise equipment you do one exercise for 1-2 mins and then move on to another exercise. This class alternates aerobic activity (like treadmills, stationary cycles, mini trampoline or step aerobic) with muscle-strength activity.
Some of the equipment used in this class are free weights, resistance machines such as leg press, medicine ball, TRX trainer, and Bosu ball.
These group classes are completely adaptable to the individual. Beginners or those with physical injuries or restrictions use less weight and/or perform simpler moves than those who may be more conditioned to the specific training. Everyone gets a good workout!!
Finishing each class with a relaxing stretch period helps to ward off soreness, calms the nervous system, and improves flexibility and joint range of motion.
ALL CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY HELD ONLINE VIA ZOOM PLATFORM
