FOOT Fitness
TESTIMONIAL
I have had foot pain for a couple of years, which was diagnosed as metatarsal pain or pulled ligaments.
I could hardly walk without pain even around the house.
I had Anne come for a private session and diagnostic view. I am so glad that I did! Anne gave me a suggested exercise program with foot wakers and what a difference!
Her expert knowledge has me walking pain free now in about a week of exercises.
I say take the first step by calling her!
I highly recommend her. She is very caring and knowledgeable!

Yamuna Foot Fitness can prevent or alleviate common foot problems such as bunions, plantar fasciitis, Morton’s neuromas, hammer toes, weak unstable ankles, calcification and arthritis.
Our feet are subject to tremendous stress. We use them daily, with all our body weight bearing down into them – and they do most of this work while literally bound up all day in shoes. As a result, the feet can’t function fully. They become contracted: the bones narrow in toward each other, the muscles atrophy, and the fascia glues all these structures together. Nowhere else in the body does this happen. On top of this most people have an imbalanced walking pattern. Put these two things together and you get pain and common foot problems.
The goal of Yamuna® Foot Fitness (YFF) is to create space in the foot by restoring length and width to the involved muscles and bones. Creating optimal space restores range of motion in all the joints of the feet. YFF uses special props – foot wakers– to restore healthy foot function by creating balance, flexibility, improving circulation, strength and proper gait (walking patterns).
Foot function affects leg and hip function and can even influence shoulder, neck and rib cage stability. The foot is at the end of fascial chains (fibrous sheaths that surround our muscles and organs) descending from the head, through the pelvic floor. The bone structure of our body is held up vertically by our feet. Additionally, the foot affects the entire body through the reflexology points on its plantar surface. If you take time to improve your foot health you will revive your entire body.
YFF is a very powerful practice – basic routines can be learned at workshops that you can then practice at home. Workshops are held monthly October to May (excl Dec)
Private sessions involve practitioner hands on work with the individual client to aid in stability, break down calcium deposits and help unwind and release inefficient patterns. As a Yamuna® Foot Fitness practitioner Anne is trained in these ‘hands on’ techniques which remove impact from bone, further strengthen and help realign the foot.
Book a complimentary, no obligation, needs assessment and together we will determine if Yamuna® Foot Fitness is a good fit for you.
